" He Gave Her Roses " . . .

This piece is another new adventure for me, a painterly effort that I quite enjoyed!  Presently it is snowing and ten degrees outside, so working in my studio works out well for me.  Between brush strokes, I watch the birds eating black oiled sunflower seeds on the bricks outside my studio window.  This morning I have three sets of cardinals, several doves, a red-headed woodpecker and many littke fluffy black and white birds.  I am a fortunate person.....

Acrylic and ink on gallery wrapped canvas.  19" X 23".  Please disregard the slightly pinkish hue here.  The painting is really black and white and red.
