On Saturday morning ( after that party) we took our fuzzy brained selves north of Albuquerque, past Santa Fe and Taos to the village of Arroyo Seco to pick up my remaining artworks and to buy a pair of incredible and very colorful wine goblets from Scott Carlson, the potter who created that beautiful bowl we bought awhile ago for our friend Vanessa. His hand crafted glazes and use of bright colors is just amazing. Enjoy!

more a resettling loose end than a moving one, but have you given any thought to rephrasing your statement of purpose? "The joys of my life in New Mexico" won't fit, although "the road of discovery in my art" will. Maybe "nostos" - homecoming/ return, quoting Eliot. "to return home seeing it again for the first time"
correction to quote (so much for memory):
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
What a terrific quote! I really like that. I have given brief moments of thought on how to make the blog components more fitting, but right now I am just worried I will forget to have the power disconnected, or something similar! I probably won't be able to fully consider the changes until I am firmly planted back home.
unless there is some compelling reason to stop being Straw Mountain Studio & notes from, keep the name because that's what your readers know you by. OK so not NM but still art and road of discovery... off in a new direction.
OK that's good advice. I agree. And I don't think I can lose the gate. I just love it!
