OUR CURRENT STATE ...

Isn't it just so beautiful!

Ahhh perspective. I was showing Gerry how much more snow you have than we, and when we came to the very last picture, he was flabbergasted! From across the desk, he didn't realize that was a hanging bird feeder - he thought it was an outbuilding in the woods - and that would have made the snow on the roof about 7 feet high!! Don't know what we've had here in NE Ohio - it's all blowing around so much we have big drifts, and patches of bare ground.

Oh my! Seven feet on a roof would be unbelievable, and probably be on CNN! How funny. You are my one reader who I knew would understand this whole snow thing. The first storm did freak me out...and we could not get out which made me panic A BIT. This current storm I am handling much better. We have a schedule with a guy with a big plow (grin). I just bake and sew and paint. It is a good life :)

Zowie! What wonderful photos! I got goose bumps just looking at your cold, snowy view! I want to see more photos. Great to see that you feed birds. We have birds that winter here in So Cal. I feed them too. hugs d

Yes, it is beautiful! I can think of only one sight that could improve on what you've shown us, and that would be the sight of a nice clean walkway and driveway. Right?

Wish I could be there....

That nice clean driveway will appear this Spring (grin).

Wow! It just hit me why I love the power of black and white, silhouettes, bare black tree branches against the sky, etc. and the sheer graphic nature (tee hee) of it all. It probably goes back to my childhood in Pa. with beautiful winter views, ... in the right light ... Magical ! Thanks for sharing your snow. Can't get this view in Baton Rouge.
