"KAT SQUARED"

I do love the combination of fabric and paint! This piece will find a home on the wall tomorrow but for now is sitting on my sewing desk. It measures 38 inches across and 41 inches top to bottom. It is painted fabric wrapped around a frame that Roy made for me. I am ready to do the next one! Enjoy!

Is the cross stitching effect painted on? It certainly does go with the house - and an extension of the direction your work is taking you

yet another reflection - I know you've commented on not going all SW but this does have aspects reminiscent of Native American design - but not SW, more Plains or even eastern seabord.

Well, I'm not sure where the style/design came from. But, the body of Kat is all fabric; a wonderful old skirt from India. The designs do look somewhat southwestern, yes. I have plans for the next one formulating.....
