"NIGHT WATCH"

Yes, I know. It has been several days since my last post. But, I have been busy! I have finished this painting called "Night Watch". It is acrylic and measures 26 x 35. Roy built the stretcher frame for it and stapled it on this morning. The inspiration for this was several weeks ago when I had many sleepless nights caused by that shoulder pain. (Yeah, it's much better and I am sleeping well.) So now in my head I am planning the next piece. No clue yet which direction it will go but I will have fun with it!

Wow! That's impressive! And I love the bright colors in a night scene. I get a very peaceful, content feeling from it.

Oh, I LOVE this! Just love it... the colors, the strong graphic shapes. Love it. (Forgive me for being repetitive?)

Aw heck Sue! You can say "love it" as MANY times as you want. Makes me feel warm all under (grin). Thank you!

Love the detail and the vibrant energy. Glad your shoulder is better, but continue painting more.

Thanks Geree! I am really enjoying it and this folk art feel that comes across pleases me. I will continue painting for awhile for sure! Yup, shoulder is about 90 %. I am so happy! You totally understand how that makes one feel I know.

Another exciting success! Your painting is somehow related to our favorite Russian artist's work. It's uncanny because you had this painting finished when we googled ole Krasnyansky. It just proves there is some hidden order to the universe and the convergence of ideas. And I LOVE your expression of it. Great job Judy ! PLEASE ... paint more.

HI Kath! I love your words! Makes me very happy that you see my painting the way I intended it to be seen. I plan to do more painting for sure but am running out of wall space (grin). I sure hope that won't happen to you! Hugs and kisses to my artist sister!
