STRAW MOUNTAIN STUDIO HAS....

SOLD !! On June 22nd we will be officially homeless and on June 23rd we will be pointing our hearts towards Meadville, PA. This evening we will have a private celebration party, Roy and me, with gourmet cheese, fancy crackers, champagne and wonderful dark chocolate. I wish we could share it with all of you but we just can't. In the next few days I will try to keep you updated on the process of moving from a strawbale home on 41 acres in New Mexico to the promise of a larger home, on a paved road, with pizza delivery nearby (grin).

Congratulations! Right now we're enjoying a traditonal PA thunderstorm. There's nothing like it. Soon you'll be enjoying them, too.

Thanks Suze! I'm looking forward to standing out in the rain, catching raindrops on my tongue!

Well hey...congrats big time!!!
Sounds like a fabulous celebration for the two of you! I have to say I love paved roads and pizza delivery too! Oh, and I love having a real mailbox out front! LOL That was a big plus. AND yes, as much rain as possible! And the best part of rain here is it isn't always accompanied with lightening and thunder! Plus I have colorful flowers everywhere again! Oh yeah!
So congrats again and I hope you will love your new home in PA!
Good journey!

Congratulations - I of course am thrilled for you even if I'm a little bit sad for me! I know this must be a tremendous relief and big thrill for you. If you pass through Cleveland on your way home....

Thanks for your sweet thoughts Sue! You were the reader I thought about as I was writing this post, and was sad for you as well. I know how much you wanted to have this dream. But, we both know this was not the right time or the right place for you. It will happen when it's supposed to. We will be in your area on our trip to PA but will be so excited to get that close that we will keep going. We would, however, like to visit you after we get our home bought and are moved in and at least some of my studio unpacked. It makes me crazy to think my art works and studio ephemera will be hanging out in some truck for a week!
