DEUX POIRES

Inspiration hit again! I put some acrylic paints on a piece of brightly flowered fabric , using several shades/colors of green. I let parts of the fabric design show through the paint. Then I put down several colors on another piece of plain fabric. After it dried, I turned it over and drew a pear. Using another piece of previously painted fabric, I cut out a second pear.
After gluing them down, I used oil pastels to add additional color on the pears and some shadowing. And here is the end result. I love this! (and still it snows...)

Thanks Jess! Often I get so caught up in the creative process that I forget to take "in process" photographs. Then after, I wish I had! I really want my readers to try some of these techniques; to see how far they can go!
