Living here means we do need some warm hats. So, I decided to knit one for Roy and one for me. I really enjoyed making them and think perhaps I am not finished making hats!

An art friend takes plastic bags and tears them into strips and knits them into wonderful items...wallets/ coin purses/larger bags. Another way to recycle..Some of our stores are paying us 5 cents a bag to bring in our own reusable bags. I have brought my own bags for years. d
I had a friend in NM who made an entire floor rug from plastic bags. I THINK she braided the bags, like a braided rug. Not sure but it was pretty cool!
